1. Who we are

Social Hub Ltd ("we", "us") operates social-hub.club. We are the data controller of personal data processed through the platform. Contact: privacy@social-hub.club.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, profile photo, city.
  • Booking data: bookings you make or host, payment receipts (we never store card numbers — payments are handled by Stripe).
  • Identity verification: if you publish an experience, Stripe Identity processes your ID document. We only receive a verified/not-verified flag and timestamp.
  • Messaging: messages between guests and hosts, retained for 30 days after the event date.
  • Usage data: with your consent, anonymised analytics (PostHog) and error logs (Sentry).

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

Contract performance (bookings, payments, messaging), legal obligation (tax, fraud prevention), legitimate interest (platform safety, analytics with consent), and consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies).

4. Sharing

We share data with: Stripe (payments + identity), Resend (transactional email), Supabase (hosting), and law enforcement when legally required. We never sell your data.

5. Retention

Account data: while your account is active, plus 6 years for tax/legal records after deletion. Messages: 30 days after the related booking ends. Verification: until you delete your account.

6. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Email privacy@social-hub.club. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. International transfers

Some processors are located outside the EEA. Transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
