1. Who we are

Social Hub Ltd is a marketplace connecting guests with independent hosts of in-person experiences. We are not the host or organiser — hosts are independent contractors solely responsible for the experiences they offer.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ to create an account. Some experiences may have higher minimum ages set by the host; you confirm compliance at booking.

3. Bookings & payments

When you book, you enter into a contract directly with the host. We process payment on the host's behalf via Stripe. Service fees are shown before checkout.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Each experience has a cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict) shown on the listing. Refunds are calculated automatically and issued to your original payment method via Stripe.

5. Host obligations

Hosts must verify their identity before publishing, hold any required licences/insurance, accurately describe their experience, and honour confirmed bookings. Misrepresentation may result in account suspension.

6. Conduct

No harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, or off-platform circumvention of fees. We may remove content and suspend accounts for violations.

7. Liability

Social Hub provides the marketplace "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts of hosts or guests, or for injury, loss or damage arising from participation in an experience. Nothing limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Insurance

We do not provide insurance. Hosts and guests are responsible for their own coverage. We recommend personal travel/activity insurance.

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
